River Thames Boat Cruise to celebrate KMA’s 20th anniversary

On a surprisingly temperate early October evening, 120 of our clients, collaborators, old friends and family members set sail from Temple Pier in the City of Westminster on the final leg of our celebration of KMA@20, following on from the first leg in Glasgow back in June.

The occasion provided moments of reflection and appreciation; a floating pause to recall our connections and shared achievements, to remember successes, teamwork, overcoming challenges, and those friends no longer with us.

For the growing KMA team, this marked a moment of change, with two new team members joining us that very week. Now that our geographical spread is anchored in Glasgow, Derby and Manchester, this was an opportunity to meet fully as a team in person, and for our new colleagues to be introduced to our wider networks.

The journey through the bright lights and looming skyscrapers of Thameside London provided a continuously shifting backdrop to our many conversations. The choppier and calmer moments reinforced the sense of a shared ongoing journey, always changing, learning, evolving and striving for better outcomes.

The KMA team would like to thank all our clients and partners who were able to join us in either London or Glasgow to celebrate, and those who were not. We would like to express our gratitude for your encouragement, support and shared mutual journey – working with great people in great places. We are looking forward to the prospect of working with you for many years to come.
