KMA celebrates 20 years

Kevin Murray Associates now marks 20 years as an independent specialist consultancy, having launched at the Birmingham Urban Summit in October 2002. In those intervening 20 years, planning and regeneration has changed enormously, and many familiar names have been lost from the consultancy scene. The KMA team has grown to include more diverse skills and services, but remains small and agile to adapt to changing circumstances.

We are proud of the rich variety of projects we have delivered, and are particularly appreciative of the breadth of locations we have been fortunate to work in – from Aberdeen to Amman, Cambridge to Cairo, Dundee to Dublin, Folkstone to Fraserburgh, Gloucester to Glasgow, Salford to Sunderland, and Worthing to Warrington, to name just a few.

We would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to all those clients we have had the privilege to work with over the years, to all our many excellent collaborators and, of course, the many diverse communities and stakeholder organisations we have met along the way.

We would also like to pay a special tribute to our late friend and colleague, Willie Miller, with whom we collaborated on some 50 projects, and who was so helpful in the establishment and development of KMA from our very first project together in Glasgow’s Gorbals.
