research and review

We undertake research for a variety of public and private organisations, including national and local governments, professional bodies and universities.

We have undertaken research into Strategic Development Planning, into Placemaking Facilitation, and into the evidence of submitted to the Scottish Planning Review. Our methods include literature research, policy review, questionnaire analysis, review workshops, and toolkit testing.

Most recently we were part of the research team for the Scottish Land Commission that studied the effects of Vacant and Derelict Land on Communities and devised a toolkit to measure it.

We also independently review and advise on processes, training, evaluation and, particularly community and stakeholder engagement.
