Place momentum is a network of experienced practitioners who advocate an approach to place and community-based issues that is cross-sectoral, and that seeks to engage the community directly and overcome professional, philosophical and governmental divisions that lead to dysfunctional and place-less solutions.

It means working more openly with communities, business and agencies that do not regularly think about place, such as health. It means employing an intelligent listening approach, but also using our substantive knowledge and creative techniques to help improve things for current and future generations.

We label our approach to helping places think through and shape change, place momentum.
