We work regularly with the community and special interest groups to help build their interest in, and influence over, planning, design and development decisions that relate to their town or neighbourhood.

This can involve workshop sessions, focus groups, participatory exercises, visits to other comparator places, bringing in special speakers from elsewhere.

More usually this involves building up awareness, confidence and capability to lead from within a group or organisation. This approach requires special skills, awareness and understanding of local situations.
